At noon on the 28th October 2010, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will throw open it's doors and take the chequered flag as the World's largest indoor theme park.

The huge gleaming red structure looks like a giant, sunburnt starfish on a windshield (if starfish could fly) and will be sure to attract all of the World's many Ferrari fans, although I doubt any of them actually own a Ferrari.

The designers must have really scratched their heads to come up with more than a series of Ferrariesque rollercoasters and some souped up dodgems, but I cannot wait to see it!!

Favorite New York hotel

Have been watching Mad Men lately and am loving the early 60's.

What a time to live!

Cadillacs, Monroe, JFK, the birth of television and classic cocktails in leathery hotel bars with beautiful woman in polka dot chiffon dresses and fake beauty spots.

My favorite hotel in New York is a charming, whimsical, antique gem on East 76th Street called the Carlyle, a Rosewood Hotel.

Antique elevators with real doormen, Bemelman's Bar, Woody Allen in the Carlyle Cafe...move over Don Draper, I want an Old-Fashioned with Betty.
